Privacy policy
Last updated: 8 July 2026
Bredius.org is a technology platform that encompasses various services and products, such as websites, AI solutions and the product DebatAI. This privacy policy explains how we handle personal data when you use the bredius.org website, contact us or use the Bredius AI Assistant. Additional, product-specific notices may apply to specific products.
Data controller
Bredius.org is responsible for the processing of personal data that takes place via this platform. You can ask privacy questions via the contact form at bredius.org/contact/.
What data do we process?
- Contact details you provide yourself, such as name, email address, subject and message.
- Chat messages you enter in the Bredius AI Assistant.
- Technical data such as IP address, browser information, time of use and security signals.
- reCAPTCHA data that Google processes to prevent abuse and spam.
Why do we process data?
- To answer contact requests.
- To operate the AI chat.
- To limit spam, abuse and automated attacks.
- To keep the website and underlying services secure and reliable.
We process this data on the basis of your consent, to perform an agreement or arrangement, or on the basis of our legitimate interest in keeping the platform secure and functional — in each case only to the extent permitted by the GDPR.
AI chat
Messages you send to the Bredius AI Assistant may be processed by an external AI provider to generate a response. Therefore, do not share passwords, API keys, payment details, medical data or other sensitive information in the chat.
Google reCAPTCHA
This website uses Google reCAPTCHA to prevent spam and abuse. Google may process technical data in the process. The privacy policy and terms of Google also apply to the use of reCAPTCHA.
Security and server logs
For the security and reliability of the platform, technical log files may be kept, for example about requests, error messages and suspicious activity. These logs are used to detect abuse and resolve malfunctions.
Products, licences, downloads and payments
Once products from Bredius.org (such as DebatAI) are actually for sale, additional data may be processed, such as:
- Order and download data: order number, download status and the status of a licence.
- Licence activation: to link a licence to a limited number of devices, device identifiers are processed exclusively as an encrypted (hashed) value; raw device IDs, IP addresses and email addresses are not stored unnecessarily.
- Payment data: payments are handled by an external payment provider. In principle, Bredius.org does not receive full card or account details; these are processed by the payment provider.
These processing activities only apply once the relevant functionality is live. As long as a product is still in preparation, no sale, payment or delivery takes place.
External processors and service providers
For the operation of the platform we use external service providers, such as the hosting party, Google (reCAPTCHA), an AI provider and — once payments are active — a payment provider. These parties process data solely for the relevant service. Some of them may process data outside the European Economic Area; in that case the processing depends on the safeguards these providers offer.
Sharing with third parties
Data is only shared when necessary for the operation of the website, security, communication, AI functionality, payment or delivery, or when we are legally obliged to do so. We do not sell personal data.
Retention period
We do not keep data longer than necessary for the purpose for which it was received, unless a legal retention obligation applies (for example for administration and invoicing) or further retention is necessary to protect rights.
Your rights
You have, where applicable, the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, objection to processing and data portability. If you have given consent, you may withdraw it at any time. To exercise your rights, please contact us via the contact page.
Complaint to the supervisory authority
If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Changes
We may amend this privacy policy when services, products or legal requirements make this necessary. The current version is always available on this page.
